Around Mount Manaslu (8,163 m)—the eight-highest mountain in the world—sits the Manaslu Circuit Trek, which is less known and quieter compared to the Annapurna Circuit. This spectacular trek can take anywhere between 14 to 18 days, with the perfect combination of adventure, culture and nature all in one. The trek soti khola begins from the lower hills of Soti Khola, the trail later on steepens to deep river gorges, thick forests, suspension bridges, and ages old Tibetan influenced settlements.
The route also passes through the Manaslu Conservation Area, which is a protected place filled with unique flora, fauna, and Buddist culture. Fewer crowds, raw Himalayan landscapes coupled with authentic cultural experiences for those whom the Manaslu Circuit is off the trodden path make this trek a truly rewarding experience. The trek culminates at the astounding Larke La Pass (5,160 m), which gives incredible views of the Manaslu range, Himlung Himal, Cheo Himal, and parts of Annapurna range.
